is not cute when you lead a child away
from the truth about the scriptures and Christ
It’s as sad as seeing a three year old with a cigarette!
If you do not understand the ways of God, you might be leading your children astray
This carries a penalty
Matthew 18:1-5
This means that as children they are innocent and don’t know right from wrong
What is the difference between a little child and a grown up?
Society, culture, religion and intelligence have all come into play.
What Christ is telling us is that when you are a little child, you are innocent. You don’t obey the law of Moses or believe in your own righteousness. You are free.
The best time to be filled with Christ is when you are a child
Mark 3:28-30
Kids are very impressionable they learn more from what you do rather than what you say.
When a child observes a parent or care giver act in an ignorant way, such as “speaking in tongues” “laying of hands,” the child will one day imitate.
Don’t lead your children into error. If you do not correct them, you allow them continue in error
The way you raise your children will determine how they will handle matters of faith
Fill your children with the things of the Lord
The journey of our faith is a progression not a stagnation
As we progress in knowledge we move in spirit and truth
2 Thessalonians 3:6
The scriptures warn against being idle
When you have a child babbling scriptures and you don’t correct them, you are setting a pattern of ignorance for the child.
Matthew 6:5-8
The scriptures are clear, “when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans”
Remain Blessed
