Divorce, Marriage And Unscriptural Doctrines

Where do these people get all these unscriptural doctrines from?🙄
what nonsense pulpit?🙄

The Samaritan woman in John chapter 4 was married 5 times and was living with a man that wasn’t even her husband, yet Christ described her as a harvester who would be paid good wages, because she brought a whole town to salvation in John chapter 4.

Christ never called her a sinner and never told her to return to any of her previous husbands. Read the whole of John chapter 4 to verify this statement.

◄ John 4:36 ►
The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!

In Matthew chapter 19:9, Christ gave a condition for divorce, he said except for sexual sins if you divorce and remarry you commit adultery. This clearly tells us that not only can you divorce an adulterous or immoral spouse, but you can also go right ahead and remarry.

Now let’s also remember that Christ in Matthew chapter 5, said mere looking lustfully is adultery.🙄

◄ Matthew 19:9 ►
And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery—unless his wife has been unfaithful.”

◄ Matthew 5:28 ►
But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Finally, Paul gave a concession to the early church stating that if an unbeliever leaves, the other spouse is no longer bound to the marriage. Show this man these scriptures and let him come and tell us where he got his man made doctrines from.🙄

◄ 1 Corinthians 7:15 ►
(But if the husband or wife who isn’t a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the believing husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace.)

Here is what he said as seen on Lindaikejisblog.

A Nigerian clergyman, Mekaowulu Izuchukwu, has sparked off a debate

In a post his Facebook page, he said any clergyman that divorces and marries another woman has no business on the pulpit.

He went on to state that a man of God has to wait for his estranged wife to return to him even if she is the one that walked out of their marriage.
